The Escient MovieDB provides all of the information for each and every DVD in your
collection. Each DVD disc is scanned and the Movie Manager connects to the Escient MovieDB
to download information about the DVD including: cast, rating, description, running time,
and even the DVD jacket cover art! You don’t have to type a thing (unless you really
want to)!

Easy to Install
The Movie Manager is inserted between your DVD changer and your A/V Receiver or TV using
standard audio and video cables. A two-way serial control cable allows the Movie Manager
to control the DVD changer directly.
It Just Works
Load your DVDs into any slot in the changer, close the door and the Escient Movie Manager
does the rest, by downloading information about every DVD in your collection from the
Escient servers using your existing Internet connection.
Decide What Movies your Kids Can Watch
Built-in Parental Controls allow you to specify which movies your kids have access to. Set
the Ratings Limit to PG and only movies with an MPAA rating of PG or below will be
displayed in the Movie Manager’s on-screen list. A password is required to access any
movie with a rating above PG.
Expandable
Escient Movie Managers are expandable from one to three changers, each safely storing 400
DVD discs! Every Escient Movie Manager contains a built-in video switcher to make multiple
changer setup a snap!
Music Too!
In addition to managing your DVD movie collection, every Escient Movie Manager can also
handle your CD collection. Just load them into any slot in the changer and close the door.
That’s all there is to it. Escient Movie Managers can also stream digital music from
