Instructions
If you are unable to perform the online update or you prefer to download the installation image and install the update directly from a CD in the Vision front panel drive, please follow the steps below to download the Vision Update v1.2.3.72 (most current) software release disc image (ISO image), burn your own CD-R, and install the update into your Vision.

STEP 1: Downloading ISO Recorder
ISO Recorder is a free program available for Windows XP and Vista that allows you to burn an ISO image onto a blank CD-R disc. Please follow the instructions for downloading and installing ISO Recorder to your Windows computer by following this link: GET ISO RECORDER

STEP 2: Downloading the Vision Update v1.2 Disc Image

STEP 3: Burning the Vision Update v1.2 CD
After you install ISO Recorder and download the Vision Update v1.2 Disc image you can burn the Vision ISO file to a blank CD by following the steps below:

1. Right-click on the “vision-update-1.2.3.72.iso” file and select "Copy Image to CD"
2. Insert a blank CD-R into your CD writer on your PC.
3. Click the NEXT button to begin writing the data to the disc.
4. Once the ISO file is written to the disc, the FINISH button will appear. Click the FINISH button and eject the CD-R from your PC.

STEP 4: Installing the Update from the CD
After the ISO image is burned onto the CD-R disc you are ready to update your Vision following the steps below:

1. Eject any media from the front panel of your Vision.
2. Insert the Vision Update v1.2 CD into the front panel drive and close the drive tray.
3. Restart your Vision by selecting Restart from the Setup/Utilities/Restart System menu. Vision will restart and begin installing the Vision Update v1.2 from the CD.

Update status during the CD update process is provided on the TV screen. When the update is complete, the Vision will eject the update CD and turn off. Press the front panel power button to boot the system and display the main menu. You can verify the current software version by viewing the System Information screen from the Setup/Utilities/System Information menu on your Vision.
